Ortho2 has developed fast and easy integrations for a variety of third-party software, including popular imaging, modeling, telephony, and financial products.

Ortho2 can help you with questions you have about system requirements, integration setup, and using your integrations within our system. However, you will need to contact the third-party supplier for specific details about using the integrated module.

Imaging Integrations

Edge Imaging - Edge Imaging, which is included in Edge Cloud, is one of the most advanced dental imaging technologies available today. With an intuitive interface, comprehensive features, and easy functionality, Edge Imaging can help you efficiently manage all your patient image files.

Radiography Integrations

In general, any radiography device that uses a TWAIN compliant driver should be able to be used as a scanner to add images to Edge Imaging – without the purchase of any additional hardware or software. In addition, Edge Cloud integrates with several popular modeling systems.

Telephony and Portal Integrations

Edge Reminders - Edge Reminders is an easy-to-use, efficient system for automating your patient reminders. Reminders can be sent via multiple message options including phone, text message, and/or email for any range of upcoming appointment dates. Messages can also be sent for recall reminders, birthday greetings, and more. Patient responses are automatically synched with the Scheduler and there's no minimum monthly charge. Edge Reminders is required for Edge Broadcast, our customized newsletter application.

Financial Integrations

Global Payments Integrated

Use the Edge Cloud / Global Payments Integrated payment processing system to post credit card, debit card, and electronic transfer (ACH)* transactions for your patients. With the integration, you can use an encrypted device or manually enter data to both save credit card and ACH* information as Payments on File for your responsible parties, and post transactions in real time or via scheduled Auto Receipts. The integration offers additional features at no cost, including seamless detecting and updating of expiring credit cards. All transactions are authorized quickly over a secure connection, using free payment processing software.*Electronic transfer (ACH) transactions are available for United States and Canadian banks only. OrthoBanc

(No Point-of-Sale Transactions) With the Edge Cloud / OrthoBanc integration, you access OrthoBanc's state-of-the-art system which provides patient credit risk assessment in just seconds. After you create payment plans, they are submitted from Edge Cloud to OrthoBanc. OrthoBanc collects payments, manages credit card expiration dates and NSF/failed payment follow-up. Deposits are downloaded from OrthoBanc and posted directly in your Edge Cloud patient ledgers. The responsible party's payment method (credit card, debit card, or bank account) is handled from within OrthoBanc's processing center, assuring the most secure account protection. Tell me more.

Vanco Payment Solutions

The Edge Cloud integration with Vanco allows you to easily process credit card and electronic transfer (ACH)* Auto Receipts through Vanco Payment Solution's e.service® payment solutions right from Edge Cloud and into your patient ledgers. Vanco Payment Solutions is a PCI (Payment Card Industry) Level 1 Compliant Service Provider. *Electronic transfer (ACH) transactions available only for United States banks only. Tell me more.

Case Planning / Presentation Integrations

Edge Animations - Revolutionize the way you communicate with your patients. Edge Animations is a collection of powerful videos used to enhance patient education and compliance. The cutting edge rendering techniques produce videos of such exceptional quality they must be seen for you to fully appreciate their educational power. With Edge Animations, you have the ability to draw, customize, and allow patients and referrers access to your videos.

Invisalign - The Edge Cloud/Invisalign integration allows you to connect you patient records in Edge Cloud with their corresponding records on Invisalign's website. Once connected, you can view your patient's Invisalign details, request videos, and open a patient's Invisalign record directly from Edge Cloud.

Analytics Integrations

Gaidge - Enable the Gaidge integration in your System Integrations editor to connect your Edge Cloud practice data with your Gaidge practice performance analysis system, and automatically add standard Gaidge responses to your Contract Classes, Start Origin, and Treatment Classification editors. If you later disable the integration, the responses are not removed from the editors.

Other

DDX - Enable the DDX integration to connect your Edge Cloud patients with your DDX cases. With the integration enabled, all Edge Cloud operators can see the DDX case status as patient visual tags, and follow DDX cases from the Edge Cloud Treatment Hub. In addition, individual Edge Cloud operators can add the integration in their User Options to be able to access and create DDX cases for patients directly from Edge Cloud.

Easy RX - Enable the EasyRx integration to connect your Edge Cloud patients with your EasyRx dashboard. Once enabled, you can open a patient's EasyRx record from the Edge Cloud Patient ribbon bar, or be prompted to create the EasyRx record if the patient doesn't have one. In addition, the patient's EasyRx prescription data is automatically imported into their Edge Cloud Treatment Hub so you can easily review and manage treatment decisions.

OrthoFi - Enable the OrthoFi integration to connect your Edge Cloud patients with your OrthoFi payment plan records. With the integration enabled, OrthoFi can import relevant patient, responsible party and appointment information into their system directly from Edge Cloud.

New York Medicaid Export - Use the New York Medicaid Export integration to compile patient data in the format required by WCS NYS Managed Care software (WCS), which facilitates filing your New York Medicaid claims. Once the integration compiles the data, you simply upload the file to WCS for processing.
